Times Square is one of the most recognizable intersections, whether on TV or the movies.
Times Square intersection does change personalities in a day. During daylight it is just like any other billboard-filled intersection. When night comes, it's like there is always a party going on. Definitely the most happening place to be every New Year's Countdown. Opened in 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world then. It connects Brooklyn on Long Island and Manhattan Island. It is considered a New York icon and has been designated as a National Historic Landmark.
Staten Island may be the least-populated borough in New York, but is rich in culture nonetheless with various European settlers. The island is often referred to as "the forgotten borough" in criticism for the "neglect" by the city government.
