The Lincoln Memorial, located across the Washington Monument, pays tribute to the 16th President of the United States, President Abrahan Lincoln. The epitaph by American Art Historian reads:

Both the Washington Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial can be found at the National Mall, a sprawling landscaped park located near the downtown area of Washington, D.C. This is the World War II Memorial, dedicated to the Americans who served the armed forces and as civilians during World War II. The 56 pillars representing the U.S. states and territories and a pair of triumphal arches for the Atlantic and the Pacific theaters, was designed by Austrian-American architect Friedrich Florian.

This huge bronze sculpture depicting Albert Einstein with a manuscript papers in hand is located at the grounds of the National Academy of Sciences at 2101 Constitution Avenue. This Albert Einstein Memorial is a creation of American sculptor Robert Berks. Replicas of this memorial can be found at the academy garden of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and at Georgia Institute of Technology.

This is Chinatown's Friendship Archway, located at H Street at 7th Street. The historic Washington, D.C.'s Chinatown was once home to thousands of Chinese immigrants but has since shrunk in numbers. In 1986, this traditional Chinese gate was built in collaboration with Washington, D.C.,'s sister city Beijing, to recognize the local chinese residents and to attract tourists.
