This is the Music City Walk of Fame in downtown Nashville which honors significant contributors to Nashville's musical heritage and significant achievements in the American and Global music industry. Think "Hollywood Walk of Fame" only, the focus here are contributors to the music industry. Exciting to spot my musical heroes' very own star, made of stainless steel and terrazzo. How many personal heroes can you spot?

There are interactive exhibits that tells the story of of country music. You can view one-of-a-kind recordings, films, and instruments that tell the story of those who have helped shape country music.

Country music, sometimes called "Western" music, traces its roots in the Southern and Southwestern United States. Hillbilly music as it was known in the 1940s, it encompasses a broad range of styles and subgenres. It draws inspiration on the life of working class Americans. Stories of undying love, the simple life, patriotism and growing up are just a few stories retold in Country Music. I grew up listening to the likes of Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Eagles, England Dan and John Ford Coley, Tom Jones, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Billy Ray Cyrus... to current times Keith Urban, Taylor Swift the list is endless. #VisitTheUSA #UnitedStories #OutdoorsUSA #RoadTripUSA
